Your voice often goes unheard in international meetings. You feel that your international colleagues talk too quickly and they do not take your opinion into account. You do not know when or how to interrupt to state your views on the matter. Your objections are not considered seriously.
This training unit will help you to make yourself heard and to stay focused while listening to others. Role plays will help you to identify unassertive behaviour and how to overcome it. We will look at your body language, your handshake, your presence in a room, the tone and volume of your voice, your eye contact and your ability to structure your messages.
Participants will gain confidence to state opinions clearly and firmly. They will be able to back up their opinions in the face of disagreement, to keep steady eye contact, and to display calm and confident body language while speaking and listening.
